No. Every calculator and reference table works fully offline.

What's included for free?

All Daily Tools calculators — Ohm's Law, Voltage Drop, Wire Gauge, Power Calculator, Unit Converter, Decimal ↔ Fraction, Transformer, Battery Runtime, LED Load, and Lighting Layout — are free forever.

What does the Pro unlock include?

A single one-time purchase unlocks all Code & Tables calculators (Ampacity, Conduit Fill, Box Fill, Motor FLC, Conduit Bending, Breaker Sizing, Dwelling Load, Grounding Sizing, Tap Rules, EV Charger Circuit) and both Reference screens (Color Code, NEC Quick Reference). It's a one-time payment, not a subscription.

I purchased Pro but it's not showing on my other device — what do I do?

Open Settings inside WireHint and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Is WireHint a substitute for the official NEC codebook?

No. WireHint is a reference and estimation tool. Always verify final designs and installations against the current National Electrical Code and your local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).

How do I request a new calculator or report a bug?

Email wire.hint.support@gmail.com with details (device model, iOS version, and steps to reproduce for bugs).
